Jonathan Ross is an American tech entrepreneur and engineer, best known as the founder and CEO of Groq, a company focused on building ultra-fast processors designed specifically for artificial intelligence workloads. Prior to starting Groq in 2016, Ross worked at Google, where he was the lead architect of the first-generation Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), a custom-built chip created to accelerate machine learning tasks.
